This is the standard, non-reverse version of YDC Compact. Unlike YDC Compact Reverse, its master cylinder is positioned toward the driver
The term Reverse refers only to the position of the master cylinder — not to the direction of lever operation. In both versions, the lever is pulled toward the driver, while the lever travel, mechanical ratio and operating feel remain the same
The correct configuration depends on the available space around the transmission tunnel, shifter, dashboard, seats and other interior components
By combining an extremely compact base with a removable lever, we created a highly compact hydraulic handbrake that can be integrated cleanly into the vehicle interior
The standard configuration includes a universal weld-in mounting plate and therefore requires welding. Depending on the vehicle and installation position, drilling the metal transmission tunnel may not be necessary, while some modification of the factory plastic trim may be required
The idea is simple: during everyday use, the handbrake can remain almost completely hidden inside the interior. When needed, the removable lever can be installed in just a few moments, providing a fully functional hydraulic handbrake for drift, track or motorsport use. After driving, the lever can be removed again, making the installation much less visible inside the vehicle

YDC Compact is a universal product intended for custom installation in vehicles with sufficient available space and a suitable hydraulic brake configuration

The standard configuration is not a direct bolt-on solution for any specific chassis. Installation requires welding the supplied universal mounting plate and may also require measuring, drilling, trimming or other custom fitting depending on the transmission tunnel, interior, seats, shifter position and hydraulic line routing
If required, we can manufacture a custom mounting plate according to your vehicle, available space and preferred handbrake position. This option is suitable for non-standard installations, including mounting the handbrake beside the transmission tunnel or in vehicles with modified or removed interior trim. Required photos, measurements and installation details will be confirmed when processing the order
