All YDC bolt-on handbrake options already include the required chassis-specific mounting plates. Other YDC handbrakes are supplied with universal weld-in mounting plates as standard
However, it is not possible to create ready-made mounting plates for every car, every handbrake model and every possible installation position. That is why this custom mounting plate option is available
We can design and make a custom mounting plate or mounting plate set for almost any YDC handbrake and almost any chassis. This is most commonly used for vertical hydraulic handbrakes, but custom mounting solutions for horizontal handbrake setups are also possible
The goal is to make the installation as clean, rigid and direct-fit as possible, using factory mounting points where possible. In some cases, drilling, trimming, welding or small modifications may still be required depending on the chassis, interior, tunnel shape and desired handbrake position
