YDC IS200 Compact Reverse is a compact hydraulic handbrake designed specifically for Lexus IS200, Lexus IS300 and Toyota Altezza XE10 chassis
We developed this handbrake for clean installation inside the original interior, without cutting or drilling the metal transmission tunnel and while keeping the factory plastic trim looking as close to stock as possible
The idea is simple: the handbrake stays almost hidden inside the interior during everyday use, and when needed, you can quickly install the removable lever and get a fully functional hydraulic handbrake for drift, track or motorsport use. After driving, the lever can be removed again in just a few moments, making the setup much less visible inside the car
The lever connection is strong, precise and reliable — more than enough for the way this product is intended to be used and for our lifetime warranty on the main handbrake construction
No cutting or drilling of the metal transmission tunnel is required
Some trimming of the plastic interior parts is required, but most of it is done from the inside, so the visible factory look of the interior is preserved as much as possible. The main visible change is the ashtray area, which can be partially preserved or covered with the supplied plate
On LHD cars, the cigarette lighter must be removed. On RHD cars, it can usually be kept. The inner edge of the plastic near the cigarette lighter area must be trimmed, and the cut edge is finished with the supplied trim ring. Some additional minor trimming of plastic parts may also be required during installation
The SRS / airbag control unit is located in the handbrake mounting area, so it must be removed or relocated depending on your build. The wiring can be extended and the unit can be moved to another location, for example into the glove box. If you want to keep the factory SRS system functional, we recommend consulting a qualified specialist before installation

The kit includes everything needed for the mechanical installation of the handbrake, including a reinforced shortened master cylinder pushrod, mounting screws and washers, cigarette lighter trim ring and ashtray cover plate
Master cylinder, brake lines, fittings, brake fluid reservoir and caliper adapters are not included unless selected as additional options
