This IronBox underdrive pulley is designed for BMW M60 and M62 engines to reduce power-steering pump speed during sustained high-RPM operation ⠀ Its increased diameter slows the power-steering pump relative to engine speed, helping reduce excessive pump load, fluid temperature and the risk of fluid leakage during drift, track and other high-load use ⠀ Unlike a standard-diameter replacement pulley, this component intentionally changes the power-steering pump drive ratio for improved operation at high engine speeds ⠀ Main features ⠀

⠀ Important installation information ⠀ The power-steering pump, accessory belt, tensioner and guide pulleys must be inspected before installation ⠀ Pulley alignment, belt tension and clearance around surrounding engine components must be checked after installation ⠀ Because the pulley reduces pump speed, steering assistance may be lower at idle and very low engine speeds ⠀ The installed pulley must rotate freely without belt misalignment, interference or abnormal vibration before the engine is operated at high RPM ⠀ Installation and final inspection must be carried out by a qualified specialist familiar with BMW accessory-drive systems ⠀ Designed, developed and manufactured by IronBox in Ukraine and offered by YDC as a trusted partner product
