The plates allow total toe to be measured using two measuring tapes and provide a rigid reference surface for approximate camber measurement when used with a separate digital angle gauge

They are particularly useful for checking alignment after a crash, suspension component replacement or trackside adjustment when access to professional alignment equipment is not available

Important measurement information

These plates are intended for simplified trackside and workshop alignment checks with limited measurement accuracy
⠀
They are not a replacement for a professional wheel-alignment system
⠀
The vehicle must be positioned on a flat and level surface with the steering wheel centred and the suspension fully settled
⠀
Tyre pressures should be checked before measuring and must remain consistent on both sides of the vehicle
⠀
The digital angle gauge must be correctly calibrated and zeroed before measuring camber
⠀
Wheel damage, tyre sidewall deformation and uneven contact with the plates may affect the results
⠀
For precise suspension geometry adjustment, the vehicle should be checked using professional wheel-alignment equipment
