The IronBox reinforcement plates are designed to strengthen the BMW E46 chassis around the mounting points of the front control arm bushing brackets commonly known as lollipops ⠀ High steering loads, increased steering angle, high-grip tyres, stiff suspension bushings, impacts, corrosion, and repeated motorsport use can damage or deform the original mounting areas ⠀ The left- and right-side steel plates are welded to the vehicle body around the factory mounting points to distribute suspension loads across a larger area ⠀ Main features ⠀

⠀ Important installation information ⠀ The front control arm bushing brackets must be removed before installation ⠀ The mounting areas must be stripped of paint, underseal, seam sealer, corrosion, and contamination before inspection ⠀ The factory threaded mounting points and surrounding body structure must be checked for cracks, deformation, corrosion, or previous repairs ⠀ Existing damage must be correctly repaired before the reinforcement plates are welded in place ⠀ The plates must be correctly positioned using the original bracket mounting points before welding ⠀ Incorrect plate positioning may affect front suspension geometry and prevent correct installation of the lollipop brackets ⠀ After welding, all repaired areas must receive suitable seam sealing, primer, paint, underbody protection, and internal cavity protection ⠀ Front suspension geometry must be checked after reassembly and a complete wheel alignment is required ⠀ Installation must be carried out by a qualified welder or workshop experienced with BMW chassis reinforcement
