IronBox BMW E36 / E46 Front Strut Tower Side Reinforcement Plates — Weld-In

These IronBox weld-in side reinforcement plates are designed to create a rigid structural connection between the front strut towers and inner fender shelves of BMW E36 and E46 chassis

The reinforced connection increases the rigidity of the strut-tower area and front body structure under high suspension and chassis loads

Installation requires removing the original side ribs between each strut tower and inner fender shelf, test-fitting the plates and welding them into position

These are side chassis reinforcements and should not be confused with the separate IronBox Drift Version reinforcement plates installed around adjustable top mounts

Important installation information

Inspect both front strut towers and inner fender areas for cracks, deformation, corrosion and previous accident repairs before installation

Any existing body damage must be correctly repaired before the reinforcement plates are installed

The original side ribs between each strut tower and inner fender shelf must be removed as required

Because vehicle age, previous repairs and body geometry may affect fitment, each plate may require careful trimming to achieve full surface contact

Test-fit both reinforcement plates and confirm suspension clearance before welding

Welding and body preparation must be performed by a qualified fabrication or body-repair specialist

Protect all bare metal, welded joints and surrounding areas against corrosion after installation
