IronBox BMW E46 Front Fender Apron Reinforcement Kit — Weld-In

This IronBox weld-in reinforcement kit is designed to strengthen the front fender-apron, strut-tower and adjoining side-body areas of the BMW E46

These structural areas are exposed to increased loads during aggressive street driving, drifting and track use and may develop unwanted movement or deformation over time

The right- and left-side steel panels are welded to the body shell to create a more rigid front structure and support more even load distribution

This fender-apron kit reinforces a different area of the body and should not be confused with the separate IronBox BMW E36 / E46 front strut tower side reinforcement plates

Important installation information

Inspect both front fender-apron and strut-tower areas for cracks, deformation, corrosion and previous accident repairs before installation

Any existing structural damage must be correctly repaired before installing the reinforcement panels

Test-fit both panels and confirm correct contact with the body shell before welding

Final trimming or forming may be required depending on the condition and geometry of the individual vehicle

Do not use the reinforcement panels to conceal or bridge unrepaired structural damage

Welding and body preparation must be performed by a qualified fabrication or body-repair specialist

Protect all welded joints and exposed metal against corrosion after installation
