The IronBox adjustable front strut tower brace is designed to strengthen the front chassis structure of six-cylinder petrol BMW E46 models

The brace connects the left and right front strut towers through the original upper strut-mounting points

Its adjustable center section allows the brace to be correctly fitted and placed under controlled tension before the lock nuts are tightened

BMW E46 front strut towers can gradually move inward or separate from the surrounding inner-wing structure under repeated suspension loads, chassis fatigue and hard driving

By connecting both towers, the brace helps reduce relative movement and provides a more rigid and consistent front suspension mounting structure

Important installation information
⠀
Install the brace on a level surface with the vehicle at its normal resting position
Inspect both front strut towers and the surrounding inner-wing structure for cracks, deformation, separation or previous repairs before installation

The brace must not be used to pull damaged or incorrectly positioned strut towers back into alignment

Any existing structural damage must be correctly repaired before installing the brace
Install the brace through the original upper strut-mounting points

After securing both mounting plates, extend the center adjuster until the brace is under light controlled tension

Do not apply excessive preload to the strut towers

Tighten both lock nuts after the correct adjustment is achieved

Check hood, engine, intake and wiring clearance before operating the vehicle

Recheck the mounting hardware and lock nuts after the initial installation
