This IronBox mounting kit is designed for installing a BMW E34 Type 188 differential in a BMW E30 chassis using a dedicated steel support structure and weld-in body mounting points

The fabricated bracket locates and supports the differential through the supplied rubber-metal bushings, while four separate steel plates are welded to the vehicle body to create the required mounting points

This is a weld-in conversion kit intended for custom drivetrain builds where accurate differential positioning, driveline alignment and professional fabrication are required

Important installation information

Installation requires welding the supplied plates to the vehicle body

The differential position, driveline alignment, operating angles and surrounding clearances must be checked before final welding

The body mounting areas must be inspected and properly prepared before installation

Driveshaft, output-flange and axle compatibility must be checked separately for the selected drivetrain configuration

Installation and final inspection must be carried out by a qualified fabricator familiar with drivetrain conversions and structural welding
