Installation diagram ⠀ This listing is for the rear subframe mounting bushings only ⠀ Differential bushings, rear subframe reinforcement plates, suspension-arm bushings, mounting bolts, and other rear suspension components are not included ⠀ Required chassis inspection and reinforcement ⠀ The BMW E36 rear subframe mounting points and surrounding floor structure must be inspected for cracks, separated spot welds, deformation, corrosion, and previous repairs before installation ⠀ IronBox recommends reinforcing the rear subframe mounting points before installing the solid bushings ⠀ For drift, track, and other high-load applications, combine this kit with the separate IronBox BMW E36 Rear Subframe Mounting Point Reinforcement Kit ⠀ Solid subframe bushings must not be installed over damaged or unrepaired chassis mounting points
Installation information ⠀ Installation requires lowering or removing the rear subframe and extracting the original rubber-metal bushings using suitable equipment ⠀ The installation diagram supplied with the kit must be followed to ensure the components are positioned correctly ⠀ The orientation and seating of every component must be checked carefully during assembly ⠀ Solid subframe bushings transfer suspension and drivetrain loads more directly into the vehicle body, making the condition of the chassis mounting areas especially important ⠀ All mounting hardware must be inspected and tightened to the appropriate specification ⠀ Rear suspension alignment must be checked after installation ⠀ Installation and any required chassis reinforcement must be carried out by qualified specialists
