Compatibility is determined by the engine mounting arms, front subframe, mount height, stud position, and available clearance rather than the engine family alone

BMW E30, E34, E39, and other chassis using M50, M52, or M54 engine swaps require individual compatibility confirmation

S50, S52, S54, four-cylinder, diesel, V8, E46 xi, and other applications are not listed by IronBox and must be confirmed before ordering

Important NVH information

These are completely solid mounts without rubber or polyurethane vibration isolation
⠀
They will significantly increase engine vibration, noise, and harshness transmitted into the chassis and interior
⠀
They are intended primarily for drift, track, race, and dedicated performance vehicles
⠀
They are not recommended for comfort-focused daily-driven vehicles

Important installation information
⠀
The engine mounting arms, front subframe, threaded mounting points, and surrounding structure must be inspected before installation
⠀
Solid mounts transfer considerably more vibration and load into the engine brackets and front subframe than OEM rubber mounts
⠀
Front subframe reinforcement should be considered for vehicles used in demanding drift, track, or high-power applications
⠀
Compatible transmission mounts should be selected as part of the complete drivetrain mounting system
⠀
IronBox solid aluminum BMW E36 / E46 transmission mounts are available separately

Engine position, oil-pan clearance, steering-shaft clearance, exhaust clearance, cooling hoses, wiring, and drivetrain alignment must be checked before final tightening
