This IronBox bolt-on bracket kit provides mounting positions for a second pair of rear brake calipers on BMW E36 and BMW E46 models without welding

The brackets are CNC machined from solid aluminum alloy, finished with anodizing, and supplied with the required installation hardware

Installation requires removal of the rear ABS sensors
⠀
The calipers installed on the additional brackets must be connected only to the vehicle’s main service-brake circuit

The hydraulic handbrake must operate the calipers installed in the original factory mounting positions
⠀
Connecting the hydraulic handbrake to the calipers installed on the additional brackets is strictly prohibited by the manufacturer

This configuration keeps the hydraulic handbrake on a separate caliper circuit while providing a bolt-on dual-caliper solution without welding the rear trailing arms

Important installation information

Removal of the rear ABS sensors is mandatory for installation

Removing the ABS sensors can disable ABS and may affect the speedometer, stability-control system, or other wheel-speed-dependent functions depending on the vehicle configuration

The vehicle’s electronic systems must be evaluated before installation
⠀
Connecting the hydraulic handbrake to the calipers mounted on the additional brackets is strictly prohibited

Installation, brake-line routing, circuit assignment, caliper alignment, bleeding, and final testing must be carried out by a qualified specialist
