IronBox BMW E36 / E46 Weld-On Dual-Caliper Bracket Kit

This IronBox weld-on bracket kit is designed to add mounting positions for a second pair of rear brake calipers on BMW E36 and BMW E46 trailing arms

Unlike the CNC-machined bolt-on version, these adapters must be welded directly to the rear trailing arms
⠀
The additional pair of calipers can be used to create a separate hydraulic handbrake circuit without connecting the handbrake in line with the main rear braking system

The adapters are manufactured from steel and supplied without coating because welding is required during installation
⠀
Correct bracket positioning is established using the selected brake disc, caliper, and brake pads before the adapters are fully welded

Installation overview
⠀
Attach the selected caliper to the adapter
⠀
Position the caliper and adapter on the installed brake disc
⠀
Connect the caliper temporarily and clamp the brake pads against the disc to establish the correct position
⠀
Tack-weld the adapter to the trailing arm in several locations
⠀
Remove the caliper before fully welding the adapter
⠀
Inspect the completed welds, verify caliper alignment, and apply corrosion protection to all exposed steel surfaces

Incorrect bracket positioning can cause caliper misalignment, uneven pad contact, disc interference, or braking-system failure

Final positioning, welding, brake-line routing, bleeding, and testing must be carried out by qualified specialists
